Amazing for shirts!
Tried this iron for a week and ironed multiple clothing items so I could give a full review. It is a brilliant iron. Very easy to set up and get started. It has a water tank that's removable and easy to fill without causing a mess. You have the option to iron with steam or can turn it off when ironing delicate clothing. There is also a vertical steaming option for curtains too. I personally loved this one as I was going to buy a separate clothing steamer for this reason so it's basically a 2 in one gadget that's saved me money. My curtain creases fell out and was fairy easy to achieve this. It also has a safety feature which the iron will turn itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity, comes in handy for busy households! Highly recommend this iron if you want a stress free ironing experience. It has to be done but this makes it 1000 times easier for me

Great product
For someone who really doesn’t enjoy ironing, this is perfect! I always tend to rely on products to decrease creases naturally. However, this can sometimes be impossible - especially with certain materials such as shirts, cargo’s and jeans. Therefore this item was a must. It is very easy to use and the instructions are straightforward. It makes the job of ironing much easier and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this item

Poor Steam Iron
My old Morphy Richards steam iron generator failed after 20 years so I purchased the Breville PressXpress. Compared to the Morphy Richards this unit is very poor. The iron is does not get overly hot, the delayed steam burst is a waste of time and my husband has to release the water tank for me as It is so difficult to release. I have persevered for 6 months with it but is now going in the bin. Total waste of money.

Amazing - best iron ever
Having been using this iron for several weeks I have to say I’m extremely impressed. It’s very fast and glides easy, it has halved my ironing time. I like how it had a lock on it simple for safety and storage, and love how it beeps when water is running low as this is a massive help for me. I would 1 millions percent recommended this product, especially for larger households looking to spend less time ironing.

Great iron
I really like this steam iron. I have always wanted a steam iron and i am not dispointed with this one . It was easy to set up and it not to bulky. The iron is light to use and irons clothes quickly. I like how the iron just clips on and keeps it in place so you don't need to worry about it falling off. The water last a good while in it as well. Over all very pleased with it.

Breville VIN410 PressXpress 2400 W Steam Generator ! Wow just wow first of all it’s a very stylish design The Iron is lightweight and really easy to use . You can steam iron with it iron without steam and vertical steam iron which is brilliant !! . Easy to fill water tank easy to use the different settings on the iron dial love that iron goes off if not been used 5 minutes ( so easy to leave irons on ! ).self cleaning function also which removes limescale comes with a cleaning tray and easy to use instructions . The iron plate with advanced sole plate technology glides effortlessly and the iron is ready to use In 1 minute continuous 230g steam boost is amazing for even the most creased item ! Powers through & leaves your items smooth and crease free in seconds !! . This is an absolute effortless pleasure to use I hate ironing usually and this has made it bareable quicker and enjoyable thank you kindly !! X

I already have a steam iron which had packed up and was in need of a new one this one is just as good as my old brand maybe even a little better, it has a great steam range it’s light weight which is a plus when you have weak wrists, it is bulky but can still find a space int he cupboard no problem, irons really well and makes life a little bit easier.

Fantastic!
This steam iron is fantastic! I love it. Its not ugly it's actually quite pretty looking. It has cut my ironing/ pressing/ steaming time down by hours! I love this it's just perfect for everything I need it for.. work shirts, collars, pleated trousers, dresses I absolutely love this I'm so glad I have this. Its just amazing

I only gave 4 stars as although it's brilliant. The cord could be longer.
However. The steam function is amazing. I was able to iron my photography backdrops whilst still on the stands. It's definitely git some power to it.
The plate really does glide on the clothes. Overall I'm happy with it

Good steam iron
It’s fairly lightweight when I’m use and glides over clothes well. It sits well on the base and fits in my utility cupboard.
It’s a great colour and aesthetically fits in well with our decor in that room
It’s not noisy and cuts down my ironing time

Better than expected!
At first, I was a little skeptical about this product. I didn't know if it was going to be any better than my current basic iron but the steam function has exceeded my initial expectation. It heats up very fast PLUS irons efficiently after just one stroke over an item of clothing.

What can I say other than wow. Totally taken aback by how a steam generator iron can change the way you iron.
The iron itself is aesthetically pleasing which is a pro given the size. It holds a good amount of water and just glides over the clothes. Really is a joy to use.

This breville Iron, make short work of ironing, and benefits from being light weight and Easy to use.
Particularly liked the fact it can be locked onto the base, so no risk of the iron slipping or falling in between ironing garments… so much safer around small children

Well I’m not impressed
Brought yesterday as previous one smashed when ironing board collapsed. No instructions, expect it to be fool proof. Plug in switch on, turn dial to temp, wait one minute and start ironing.
No!!! Iron heated up. Don’t need to pay this for that. No steam no matter what

Amazing iron
This iron is amazing. It's so lightweight and holds loads of water so I can do my whole week's ironing in one go without the need to refill the water tank. It glides effortlessly and irons clothes so easily. I woyld recommend this iron to everyone.

This is probably the best iron I have had .. cuts ironing in half time as I do ironing each day for 5 hours so I need a good iron I can rely on and this does not split or dirty lime scale & doesn’t need scale so often as other irons.

Finally an iron that won't leak. And it's very precise in its ability to heat up at its very tip so no part of collar shirts are left messy.
It heats up very quickly so you get the job done in no time.

Brilliant iron
I've had this for a little while now and I love it. It is quite bulky but does the job. Great amount of steam coming out. I've enjoyed using it as I love to iron it quickly gets all the creases out and they stay nice all day

Ironing was never easy before, i was always struggling with piles of clothes which took me 2-3 hours.GREAT RESULTS IN NO TIME!!!
I Got through my ironing in 2 1/2 hours faster with this Breville iron. The best best best Iron I have ever used, I enjoyed ironing for the first time In my life as this new Breville iron has become easier!!! The creases disappear quicker than a traditional steam iron. I used to hate refilling the iron every 15 minutes with my old iron and with this new iron I avoids the need for constant refills with capacity of 1.7L tank. More quicker ironing less refills!!! The best iron when it comes to safety as Extra safety for peace of mind, it also Auto shut-off engages after 5 mins of inactivity, perfect safety for children when we forget sometimes. perfect for busy homes with high piles of clothes. This iron is Equipped with carry lock and cord holder for safe storage. You also get a multi-directional soleplate glides which you can effortlessly iron in any direction without creasing the material, which I always struggled with. I would highly recommend, this iron will make life a lot easier and a perfect gift for someone special, mother, sister, daughter, girlfriend!!! A 10/10 for me! I can’t wait to gift my old mum as she always struggles with ironing! The best quality iron I have ever used!!!

Steam your way through!
I am very satisfied with the Breville PressXpress 2400W Steam Generator. Not is it very easy to use but more than halved the time it took to iron a load! I can't believe I've been using a normal iron all this time and never even considered using a steam iron as such.
It has many fabulous features which includes a detachable tank that can hold upto 1.7l of water. This is handy as you can fill it up and do a whole load of ironing without refilling constantly.
Another fantastic feature is the multi directional soleplate which allows you to iron in any direction.
It has an auto shut of after 5 mins of being inactive as well as having an audible beep sound that tells you the water tank needs refilling.
The iron itself is lightweight and the steam button is conveniently located on the bottom of the handle so it's easy to use.
The cons I've experienced so far are:
1. The iron doesn't stand upright as the cord is in the way.
2. The water tank part is quite heavy so you have to have a pretty strong and sturdy ironing board to put it on top of or otherwise put it on the same level as the iron somehow close by.
3. You have to pull the water tray out with a fair bit of water, if you're emptying it out when you're done ironing then have to be careful as water may spill through the gaps.
In conclusion, it's worth investing in (if you don't mind the cons mentioned previously)
if you have loads of laundry to iron and require a quick and easy iron that will take the creases out effortlessly.
