POWERSteamTM Advanced 3000W Ceramic Steam Iron is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heats quickly and glides well Firstly it’s much lighter than I expected it to be! It glides across clothes really well and with minimal effort. I noticed that it gets creases out with ease both without and with the steam! The cord is long enough to safely use the iron on an ironing board. I found that the water held is sufficient to iron a substantial amount of clothes. It also heats up quickly so you’re not stood round waiting for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it should with some extras Very sleek and modern design!! It heats up faster and glides smoothly over things that need ironed. It has the ability to be able to change the heat setting and also has the added bonus of self clean. It has a cool little strip that let's you know when the iron is cool enough to be put away. Overall I was really impressed and would definitely repurchase and recommend to friends and family

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like it! Lovely and light iron. Worked wonders on my daughter heavy combat jeans. I always thought irons were all the same but this is so much better than any I’ve bought before. Impressively, this even has a self clean option. The cables nice and long which is on a moving ball at the iron so no bending in the cable. Glides lovely on all clothes I’ve used it on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good iron for the price This iron was so much easier to use than my old iron. It has a good size water tank so doesn't need filling too often and got hot quite quickly. The water tank is quite dark however so it can be hard to tell how much you've added and if you're going to overfill it. It was very smooth to iron with and left my partners shirts wrinkle free in minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR DESIGN UNABLE TO SEE WATER KEVEL How a manufacturer can market a steam iron that you are unable to see what the water level is, is gross negligence Pity because the iron definitely gets the creases out, but have to constantly shake the iron as an indication that there is still water in the reservoir

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This iron stopped working after 15 months!! Don't bother buying this iron - mine stopped heating up after just 15 months and then found out the warranty is only for 12 months. Not worth the £50 price tag - I expect my appliances to last longer than that for that price. Won't be buying a Breville iron again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing Struggling to find any positives re this iron. It's heavy, doesn't glide over fabrics - in fact tends to pull material and crease it. Difficult to see water level. Unable to adjust steam, it's either full on or off. The steam puffs out and is too much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what i need it to do So far this Breville iron has worked quite well for me, I hate ironing with a passion, so irons are the least important things on my mind. I found that this iron does what I need it to do, I guess i’ll have to see how well it works with time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really poor do not buy Stopped powering up after 14 mths and from using high quality irons before lasting 4-8 yrs this is so poor. Do not buy even when it did work would rate this around £20 only and no good for tight edge work shirt or school trousers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice thin tip to help add a crease This iron is good, it does the job of getting rid of creases. I like that it has a small thin tip to help put a single crease into a shirt. The steam function is good, it gives a good amount of steam.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful steam iron with smooth ceramic plates! This Breville POWERSteamTM 3000W Iron boasts a 220g steam shot which makes it amazing for even the most stubborn of creases. It comes with an extra long 3 metre power cord (with 360 degree action) increasing maneuverability and avoiding tangling the cord! With safety in mind, it has a heat indicator informing you when it’s cool enough to put away. It took creases out of work shirts very easily due to the high steam design. It even has a vertical steam function designed for more trickier items. The ceramic finish plates make it glide so easy and effortless over clothes - this is something I noticed most about this iron. The soft grip handle makes it really comfortable to use too! It is really easy to fill due to the 300ml water tank due to the large inlet preventing any accidental spillages. It has an anti-scale and self-clean feature which helps prolong the longevity by reducing limescale which is a huge problem for me as I’m in a hard water area. This is a great steam iron and has all the features (and more!) needed. It looks the part too- the design is sleek and it looks great on my pantry shelf!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very clunky Just as a disclaimer, I’m used to a stem generator iron so whilst I knew the steam power wouldn’t be there with this iron, I was disappointed with the quality. Let’s start with the good bits: it’s well packaged, the cable is a really generous length and the water tank is a good size. The iron has a pointed end to get into the little folds of shirts and dresses which I liked. Now for the down sides…the iron itself felt very big and clunky, the steam control on the handle was very ‘plasticky’ and felt like it could break quickly after some use. The iron didn’t have a good constant flow of steam, meaning I had to press the steam button quite often which was a tricky reach to the other side of the handle with my thumb (I iron right-handed and have the worlds longest thumbs!!!) and sometimes ended up ironing in more creases than I ironed out. It also didn’t fit in the iron rest on my ironing board where I’d normally put it between ironing items. Overall I’d say ok for occasional ironing of light T-shirts etc, the steam power certainly won’t blow your socks off but it’s better than wearing creases up clothes.
