Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad The design and appearance are very appealing and modern, the levers for the bread to go down aren't as sturdy as I'd expected them to be and feel quite flimsy, the toaster itself does an alright job it's best point is its super fast however I've found it toasts one side of the bread more than the other so could do with turning half way through for an even toast, I expected like with most double toasters to be able to use each side independently however that is not the case the left side does not stay down unless the right side is used first, you can't use the left side first.

At 65 and a pensioner who bought this because my old trusted toaster packed-up i cannot afford another one so i am probably stuck with this for the rest of my life. Just something else to spoil my days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Toaster! This is a nice looking navy coloured toaster! The curves make it unique and different than the normal toasters! The toaster is for 4 slices which is great for a family, upgrading from a 2 slice one you feel the difference. There is 5 heat settings and it toasts the bread fairly quickly (the number 2 setting is usually fine). There is a reheat and defrost option for those who would use these, having young kids and a newborn, this is definitely a bonus and unique, the old traditional toasters don't have this handy option! Visually, the toaster looks great too!

Can’t use the right side unless the other side is been used, and bread doesn’t even fit in it so have to cancel to turn it over and the cancel button cancels both sides, why is making toast so stressful

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't even fit a full slice of bread!!! This looks fab but is absolutely useless you can't fit a slice of bread in at all!!! You have to either cut some of the bread away or only toast one half!!! Not good for this sort of price!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this toaster! I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a four slice toaster as I feared it would take up a lot of counter top space and I have a small galley kitchen. I needn't have worried though as it fits perfectly in the corner and is neither too wide or bulky. The grey colour is a lovely dark shade and goes nicely with my blue mosaic tiling. The toaster itself works really well and the bread was toasted to my liking in less than a minute. Settings are very clear, there's a defrost, stop and reheat option. The slots are perfect for toaster bulkier bread items such as bagels, previous toasters I've had I needed to push the bagel in and it would drag off the sides of the slots. This is a very versatile, and very aesthetically pleasing toaster!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing toaster Been using this 4 slide toaster for a couple of weeks now and I love the sheer design colour and overall look of this toaster I've always wanted to upgrade from my 2 slice to a 4 slice and it looks great on display in my kitchen it has the same features as any other toaster but it does have 1 to 9 setting to give you the right toast for you how brown you like it and how crispy its ideal for the 4 slice for any busy family instead of having to wait 4 slices at once is alot easier than doing 2 at a time its easy to clean with the pull out crumb tray located under neath the toaster I would highly recommend this to anyone not only for the design colour and overall style of it but it offers a more toasting option than other standard toasters

The device itself is OK but the buttons are so flimsy and for the first section to pull the toast down you need to use force. The dials are plastic and so flimsy it's not at all well made. So not a fan at all really the casing is actually nice with the wavy pattern but as I said everything else wasn't so good

Unfortunately the levers are not very easy to be down: often bounced back: not the entire size of the bread is toasted...eventually just more than a year, it is totally died!!! At the moment the lever does not go down at all. Just hoping that the customer service team will get back to me...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funky looking toaster Great looking toaster & toasts perfectly,only negative is u can only use the 2 right side slots if u only want to toast 2 slices,if u want to have 4 slices then u can use the left side slots but only after u start the right side off first,never experienced this with other 4 slice toasters. took time to get our heads round it early in mornings.

I bought this toaster because the one which I have had for just over a year (which was identical) would not work without tripping the electric circuit and as it matched my kettle my wife pursued me against my better judgement to buy the same model again. I hope that this one outlives the short guarantee period by much longer.

Very well designed, great quality and lots of practical features. If you want something that looks great, does the job perfectly and doesn't break the bank then this is the one for you.

It’s super sleek and the Matt finish means that it doesn’t seem to show the greasy fingerprints quite so badly as my old stainless steel one. I am now looking to get the matching kettle. The toaster fits 4 slices of bread in comfortably and it toasts nicely. I have found that it is not always evenly toasted and this is why it didn’t get 5 stars for me - however, it is not terrible and certainly wouldn’t put me off buying again. I love the controls and it just all feels good quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish looking toaster I was on the hunt for a new 4-slice toaster and came across the new Breville Curve, the navy and gold detail caught my eye and seemed very different to any others I had looked at. It is a beautiful looking toaster and it does toast bread very well, with the ability to change the settings to suit your browning preferences. There are two things that bug me a little about it though and that’s; you can see all the wiring and components through the handles which I’m really not keen on and would prefer hidden and the other is that some times, after you’ve done your toast and the handles pop back up they don’t always seem to be aligned and so I have to manually toggle one side up to match the other. Apart from that, it’s a decent sized toaster that works well at toasting bread, bagels etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish & practical This is a great toaster, it compliments my kitchen nicely, makes a change from black, I’m not sure the gold on the handles is really needed, personally would prefer if it was all silver, but the pattern gives it a very stylish look. Have toasted bagels, various breads and waffles and all have been done perfectly without getting stuck, took a couple of goes to pick the perfect toasting number setting but now it’s set it’s great, hope the toaster will continue to work well for a long time to come.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impressions 4 slice toaster is no good I bought this toaster via Tesco in November 2020 and it has packed up after just 20 months: no wonder Breville only offer a one year warranty! The spring on the fight hand side has failed which automatically disables the left hand side (which will only operate when RH side is in use.) Since there are no user serviceable parts and your FAQs fail to address this problem the toaster is basically US. Would not recommend unless you expect a toaster to only work for 20 months or less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish and a little Retro I purchased both the Toaster and Jug Kettle in white for my newly refurbed kitchen. I love the kettle, which is very easy to handle and perfectly balanced. The toaster although lovely I presumed was broken when it arrived. I put my bread in the two left hand slots and they would not stay down. Upon phoning customer services, we were told that the four slots do not work independently of each other. If you want four slices it's fine..........if you want two, you can only use the right hand slots. This was midly annoying as the toaster sit for the most part half under a kitchen unit above, and only gets moved out on very odd occasions that four slices are required. We wanted to keep the toaster, so had to move it's position. We haven't had it long enough yet to comment on the longevity, but here's hoping it's great.

The toaster is very plasticky and cheap looking, and best of all ours wouldn't work on the left side straight out of the box. This is the second one that's had the same fault, the other was a Breville VTT476 Impressions Toaster, which whilst it's technically the same it is aesthetically different and was from Argos, so not likely to be the same manufactured batch. Very poor from a company with the history of Breville!

This toaster looks great in our cream gloss kitchen which is painted grey with grey work tops. Having upgraded from a 2 slice to 4 slice toaster has been great with a big family. The only negative I have found is, one side doesn't go down unless both side are being used. More annoying then anything. Going to buy the matching kettle now

The contrasting chrome effect does look like a high end toaster and that brings me to my one and only gripe, and that’s that up close you can see and feel that it’s plastic. That aside though, it’s a toaster, and it does it’s job, so I’m happy.

Easy to cook from frozen too. I would definitely recommend this product it looks High end, easy to keep clean and I love the textured pattern you can see. With matching products available I’m planning on getting the whole set!

The toast cooks to perfection and doesn’t take ages, which is great when you have a toddler to feed. I absolutely love that this is 4 slice too, so we can all eat together. I’ll definitely be changing my other appliances to match this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stupid You can only use the left hand side when the right hand side is being used. And when the right side pops up the left does too. So unless you put them down at the same time the left doesn't get done as much. The right side is also going to be the first to break because it gets the most use. And when that happens you won't be able to use the other side either!

It is also a 4 slice toaster, which also allows you to push the toast compartment up so you can reach smaller slices of bread which are harder to reach. It toasts bread really well! I love it, highly recommend
