I love that it's also capable of making bigger drinks as I always tend to have a massive cup of tea in the morning. It's so easy to use as you don't need to lift to pour water either. Definitely a new staple appliance in my kitchen.

Gets to boiling in seconds and i love you can preset the temp and the volume, 200ml preset is perfect for my morning coffee and I don’t have to wait or stand around to press stop.

It's simple to use, not much bigger than a kettle but it dispenses the perfect amount you need piping hot without all the waiting. Great for use at home or in a small office space where you are on the go. Could be great for the elderly too as it is very easy to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU NEED 70 DEGREE WATER OR LESS. YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE 100 DEGREE WATER. I HAVE TESTED IT MANY WAYS AND EVEN WARMING CUP UP PRIOR. THE TEMPERATURE DROPS DRAMATICALLY AND IN LESS THAT 1 MINUTE IT WENT FROM 70s TO 60s THE FILTER DOES GIVE A DIFFERENT TASTE.

The water feels and tastes cleaner. An added bonus is this product is more energy efficient which is amazing in this current climate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love this upgrade We have been using a Breville Instant hotcup for years so this Breville Instant hotcup 1.4L is an update for us. I prefer the look to this one rather than my old one, which the old one being abit more bulky. The New Breville sits prefectly on the side and isnt to big at all. I think it holds less water than my old one but it needs room to be able to filter which my old one didn't have. The Hotcup comes with a refill with clear instructions on how to get set up. It did take us a couple of minutes to work out where the fill lines are as they aren't that clear against the dark colour. We love that you can choose how many mls you want and what temperature aswell, which is super easy to do, just select the setting and turn the bottom and then push the button to go. It remembers the last setting you picked so you don't have to keep changing it all the time. After a couple of minutes if it's not being used it locks itself which is super helpful if you have little ones around, just press and hold the lock sign and Ur ready to go. The water feels like it comes out slow but it soon fills up. It isn't quiet and does make a beeping sound so just bare that in mind if it's really early. When we got the drip tray outwe noticed it's small than our old one and actually doesn't have a lot of room for spillage. How ever we have found that it's not actually had anything spill so far so it's not been to bad. It's easy to clean and have a magnet to keep it in place. We mainly use ours for tea and coffee, how ever they aren't the only things you can use them for. I use mine as I would with a normal kettle when making gravy, custard or even defrosting a small amount of sweet corn for sandwiches. This instant hotcup is definitely one of the most used things in my kitchen and as a family we love it. I would highly recommend.
