Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once again a star product we bought this product to replace one we had had for 4 years. Our daughter had moved out and wanted one so we bought a new one and gave her the one we had had. We live in a very hard water area and this had taken its toll on our Hot Cup. Even with the Brita filter, it was furring up. Love having a new one xx

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, but... I've had this kettle for several years now and have not had any major issues with it. The only issue that has recently come to light is that the battery for the Britta filter replacement on the lid is NOT replaceable and therefore no longer works! I would have thought that a product from Breville and at this cost would at least either make the battery replaceable or provide the ability to purchase a new replacement lid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed Useless if you like a big cuppa. Will only dispense 3 times before it clicks off so I have to wait before I can fill both mugs. Constantly filling up the tank. No fill line in filter tank so often overflows and floods worktop. As it’s gone along it dispenses less water. When I first bought it (about 6 months ago) I needed one and a half pumps to fill my mug. Now two pumps don’t fill my mug. It’s also now pumping limescale out into our cups. I’m fed up with the flipping thing and am going back to a normal kettle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job. After a couple of weeks I have worked out the settings for various cup sizes. It works well and is better than continually filling a kettle. It does not feel like a premium product though with lots of shiny plastic. Also the maximum fill level is pretty low so you do need to fill it more often than I thought you would. So far so good but a bit pricy for what it is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for single drinks It's great for making single drinks in the cup, but making more than one there's a wait whist it boils agin for there next cup. Also if you want to fill a teapot or flask, it will stop, and you have to wait for it to boil again before you carry on filling. A continuous pour button would be really useful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2nd HotCup in 5 years I bought a 2nd hand HotCup nearly 5 years ago as I wasn't sure we needed a kettle anymore. It lasted until recently when a fault occurred and it was a simple decision to replace it like for like. Hardwearing, looks good, reliable and with a Brita filter. Overall, an excellent purchase

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Connor difficult to clean and it’s gross The kettle been used very often. However, the conors of the kettle is difficult to clean and is growing something green. It’s really gross! Yuck! For a product costed £99, I didn’t expect this to happen!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick Brew The Hot Cup does make a hot, quick cup of water for various drinks, pasta etc. The only issue is the weight of the item. It is definitely easier taking water to the kettle than vice versa.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from breville vkj367 Don't bother with the breville vkj367 when it's empty it takes 10 min to fill it as the water has to go through the filter So buy the cheaper one cup & just buy a britta filter jug then you can just pour it in job done

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ACCEPTABLE The inclusion of the Brita MAXTRA + filter element adds another complication and because the MAXTRA + is life-limited, the performance deteriorates in terms of topping up the filter funnel (Item 10), in fact very hard to persuade any flow through the filter at and after 4 weeks. Do unfortunately get cynical and say that BRITA have maybe done this restriction deliberately to force you to buy filter element?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with this one Just bought my third one as previous two were the best ever one cups I've ever had without any complaints but this one spits water everywhere when filling cup and the top lid does not fit properly. Not sure if I'm just unlucky or whether they have change the spec of the model but very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would of been perfect So I purchased this off of Amazon in 2016, beginning of this year it just broke. Checked fuses, they are fine. If it does decide to work we have to hold the button down all the while or it just turns off. Was a really good product at first

Rated 5 out of 5 by from upgrade I purchased this new one from high street supplier even though my old original one was working fine after five years. the new one is very quiet indeed and you can move the drip tray which is handy when you have a Pyrex jug to fill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best kettle ever!!! Like most people, we've had loads of different kettles over the years. They only last a year on average. Not this beauty, 5 years and still going strong. Highly recommended!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent - totally reliable for over 3 years I’ve been using this hot water dispenser several times a day every day for over 3 years now and it’s brilliant. It’s very good quality, hard wearing and reliable. This hot water dispenser is so convenient, just press the button and a hot cup of water is ready to take so quickly. No pouring and waiting. I use this to drink warm water help keep my skin clear of dermatitis etc and this really works, so I don’t need to use steroid creams any more. I remember when I first got it, there was a funny taste but that disappeared and never came back so it was just because it was new. Since then it’s tasted fine for years. The Water filters do a great job of keeping the transparent window clean, even after 3 years it looks almost new. The emergency stop button is very responsive and the water level setting works well to just boil how much you’d like. Beware that if you accidentally set it to boil when there’s not enough water, even if you get to the emergency stop button in time, you might find that the whole dispenser stops working for a bit. Don’t worry. It will work again, it just needs time to cool down and recover. Having said that, I suppose maybe there’s a limit to how well it can cope if you don’t get to the emergency stop button in time, so it’s best to take care and make sure there’s is enough water in there.
