Fantastic kettle
This kettle is fantastic. It looks great on the side and it is really good quality. I’m also really impressed with how quickly it boils. I also love how easy it is to slide out the spout filter so that you can clean it.
The cord on it winds up underneath so you can extend it if needed but it also means there is not excess on show.
The only bad point I can find about this kettle is that the lid is a little stiff to take off which is only a problem when it is still hot and you want to refill it. However having said that you could refill it through the spout.
Overall a fantastic well built good looking kettle.

Elegant and stylish
This breville 1.7 L kettle has been the most elegant and stylish edition to my kitchen. It’s has a sleek design and shiny black finish. It has a removable lid which is very handy and convenient. It has a removable lime scale filter which makes its maintainable easy. It can easily hold around 6 cups of water and it boils rapidly. It also has a small light which turns on when it’s boiling .
The kettle has a 360’ rotational base making it convenient for both right and left handed people. Overall it has definitely met my expectations and I will highly recommend it.

Great features
The breville Aura 1.7L kettle Is a must for your kitchen. The design is sleek and stylish a great modern look and feel.
Being a large household and a family of tea lovers and hot chocolate for the kids the 1.7L capacity is brilliant for all our hot drink needs especially with the rapid boiling time makes making them so much quicker and easier. The pull off lid makes it easy to fill and the concealed element is easy to clean so no more limescale build up. Overall I would definitely recommend this kettle and I am going to purchase the matching toaster to complete the look.

Excellent kettle!
In my household, the kettle gets a LOT of use, so needs to withstand many boils per day.
It's quieter than my previous kettle, but the end of boil click is loud enough to remind me that I can now pour water on my tea.
It's got a decent water capacity too: I can fill my hot water bottle and make two cups of tea, so it's excellent for when I have an endometriosis flare up, as I'm not waiting for the kettle to boil twice. The water level indicator tells you how many cups it can fill, and it's mostly accurate - it was a quarter of a cup out (if I'm being really picky).

Functional product that looks good in your kitchen
I have no complaints whatsoever regarding this product. I boiled water in it three times prior to use (as instructed) and the water tasted as expected. The black portion of the kettle remains a cool temperature even when water has just been boiled, which is useful to stop from accidentally burning oneself. The kettle is a bit heavier than I anticipated but this just makes it feel better quality and more durable. Additionally, I like that when boiling water, the kettle lights up, so there are both visual and audible cues.

Quirky kettle
This kettle will look good in any kitchen. It is relatively quiet. Small and easy to handle. I like the clean, industrial look.
When I first used it, I noticed that the ‘on’ lever turned ‘off’ too fast for the water to have been fully boiled. This happened again a while after. The third time it continued to fully boil.
A different time, when I used it, I noticed that there was steam on the cupboard doors above. The kettle had been boiling already hot water but it had gone past the stage of boiling…which caused the steam. There was also a leakage of water below the kettle onto the countertop.
Some of these are quirks more than faults and they certainly only happened once. The final thing to mention is that the kettle body gets hot to the touch immediately after the water boils. This is something to get used to.

Beautiful Breville kettle
Excuse my smiley little face, but I was super excited to unbox this beautiful Breville kettle. I am in the middle of updating my kitchen and renovating the space. This kettle works perfectly with the fresh look. I love the shimmer grey exterior. It looks classic and timeless. I plan to purchase the toasted too. It’s easy to keep clean. I can wipe it down even when renovations are going on it’s been the perfect time to keep the builders topped up with tea.

Robust and Good Quality
The Kettle has a stainless steel interior which is easy to clean. It has a nice light feature when turn on and heating the water to make it easy to know it’s on. The exterior has a nice design with a shimmer in the colour. The lid requires manual removal, making it easy to clean. The kettle is robust and made of good quality stainless steel, less plastic. The only downside is the exterior does get hot. Overall a great kettle, very happy with it.
