Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointing I’m a little disappointed in this toaster. The cable is quite short and the only option is to have it come out of the back you do not have the choice for it to come out of the side. The two sets of slots do not operate independently you have to engage the first pair before you can engage the second pair and they do not have their own control the single control is for both pairs. So if you put the first down and a few minutes later put down the second pair they will both finish at the same time regardless of how much later the second set went down. It does toast well just not as adjustable as I would expect from a 4 slot toaster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and great toaster I'm not an expert on toasters but this particular product is the best toaster I have ever owned. If you always find that the slots on a toaster are too small for you, this is the answer! It fits all kinds of bread I've tried to put in it, and it toasts to perfection. Other brands I have never found the perfect setting, it's always been either warm bread, or a charcoal block, no middle ground. This toaster makes.... Toast!!!!!

This toaster has done the trick it fits a full slice and toasts it all. It's brilliant and I love the grey colour it matches my kitchen perfectly

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great toaster - looks smart but slightly tall Vs my previous toaster - this does look very smart on my counter top. With a black finish and chrome and brushed gold finishings. It does everything you would want or need a toaster to do and I love the extra wide slots for thick bread. My only dislike is that the toaster does seem quite large vs other 4 slide toasters I've had in the past. It is quite tall and wide and does take up quite a bit of space. It also has a very short cord - so the only option really is to have it placed by a plug socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and simple toaster I waited a while before I reviewed this as wanted to see how it got on with various types of bread and different settings over time. I haven't been disappointed. It's doing everything I wanted it to and it looks very stylish too. Nice large dials, easy to use, I like how you can lift up each side so you can check on the brownness of the bread without cancelling the cycle. Adjustable brownness and reheat and defrost - what more could you need. Easy to keep clean too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just your average toaster I general get well known brands and this Breville toaster is no exception. After my last toaster failed it was time to replace it and I opted to get test this toaster.. I have to admit I was quite surprised that the length of the slots for the bread aren’t too big so your typical “door step” bread would struggle to fit comfortably. It may be great for Crumpets and muffins as the width is a lot better. However when cooking crumpets and muffins I like to use the high lift to safely get them out without burning your fingers but this high lift function leaves alot to be desired. It doesn’t lift them high enough without having to stick your fingers in to get them out. I would say it’s a good toaster but there’s a few downfalls with it.

It’s got these nice wide slots that fit bagels, thick slices, or whatever you’re toasting. You can tweak the settings to get your toast just how you like it—light and golden or darker and crispy. It’s also handy for frozen bread (defrost mode) or warming up toast that got cold (reheat mode). Plus, there’s a cancel button if you change your mind mid-toast. The toaster has a high lift lever so you can grab smaller items like English muffins without burning yourself. Cleaning is easy too with the removable crumb tray. And don’t worry about safety—it’s got features to prevent overheating and stays cool on the outside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice quality toaster The toaster looks great, there is a mixture of metal and plastic that gives it a quality feel. Instead of buttons it has touch screen options. The toaster browns bread evenly but takes a long time before the toast is ready. Like most toasters, the toast slots could be bigger to allow different size breads to fit in the slot. The toaster has a time dial, frozen bread function and warm up option. I really like this item and I would recommend this to other people considering a new toaster.
