Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous coffee This Breville Barista machine is fantastic. Makes coffee just like crom the big name coffee shops. Easy to set up and use, with the choice for one or 2 cups to be made and an excellent steam wand which makes the milk hot and frothy. It takes very little time to make the coffee and to steam the milk as desired. Easy to clean after use, and includes a handy pin to clean the steam nozzle, be wary when getting out of the comparment as quite sharp! The bowls for coffee can be stored in a compartment in the machine. Not a great deal of space needed. Only downside is that it is noisy....but this is the case to get the good coffee in coffee shops. Drip tray slides out easiky for cleaning. Highly recommended coffee machine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good coffee It does make great hot coffee, it is very compact so you dont need a lot of space love the milk steamer but the handle for the coffee was very stiff and a few times we ended up with the ground coffee going everywhere it could possible get slacker the more we use it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I've had the Breville Barista Mini Espresso Coffee Machine for just under a week and I'm already in love with it. Took me a few attempts to get used to but once I got the hang of it I feel like a pro. Best coffee I have ever tasted. I was a little worried it would rake up too much work top space as my kitchen is not very big, however it's a very good addition and I don't mind it being there as its one of the most used gadgets in the kitchen at the moment. I love that it's silver as it matches the rest of my appliances aswell as being a timeless classic. It looks very sleek. You can have a single shot or double which is very good aswell as being able to adjust it. It has a good size water and milk canister. It has a removable drip tray which makes it very easy to clean. My only downfall is the wand seems to drip every now and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good coffee, easy to make This is my 5th espresso machine. All the others made good coffee. This one is no exception. This model the Mini Barista is the first that comes with auto extraction based on volume through the coffee grinds, and it is perfect. I changed the auto extraction to a slightly higher volume on the double extraction setting. This was easy. Now all I can say is that this machine is the best .I have had and not the most expensive! It has an auto clean cycle that you have to be patient with. But it all works a treat. Six coffees a day over the last six months. All good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s a Breville Purchased about 6/8 weeks ago and was very impressed how it looks and the construction of it BUT after questioning Breville as to why I don’t get as much out this machine, being a 58mm head, as I do from a 51mm head. The information given here was quite contradictory as the previous machine was a One Touch Automatic, so using a 58mm is using more coffee to give a small extraction. Strange! The steaming wand is not the best, no I’d go to say, useless, it steams but you don’t get the votex working, therefore not a good cappuccino, good coffee but no froth

Anyone who owns a fully automatic coffee machine also knows that coffee enjoyment is not entirely without work. The machines must, of course, be cleaned and descaled regularly. Great slim design and not very noisy compared to other machine. I’m amazed how this delivers brilliant coffee. I normally have 1 cup of coffee per day now I’m having 4!I’m very happy with it well worth the price tag.

Perhaps I have been unlucky, but the water coming from the group head seems to be perfectly controlled and fixed at 75 degrees, dispute Breville stating 92 is the correct temperature. Regardless, it is impossible to make an espresso with it so it will be returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the coffee shops! I love this coffee machine, its very easy to use and produces good quality coffee with a smooth frothy layer on top. It also heats up really fast and tastes just like the coffee shops. I'm so happy with this machine and I'm yet to try and make a latte, I have just been having espressos for now. Lastly, it's surprising very easy to clean, I thought it would have been quite fussy to get into certain areas to clean, but this was not the case. I LOVE IT!

Makes the perfect coffee every time with easy to use features and easy to set up. With a 2ltr water holding tank you won't have to top up daily. Also it's consistent with every shot made. Couldn't recommend highly enough definitely if your a massive coffee addict like myself.

Mmmmm. Extremely well designed machine and accessories are a joy to use - this is the highest quality barista machine I’ve seen. Love the ease of filling the water reservoir, and the large capacity. Very easy to make several coffees one after another, and quiet in operation too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely smooth tasting coffee. I love this mini Barista Coffee Machine, it's so easy to use and the coffee tastes delicious. You need to read the instructions first. I was missing going out for my coffee from my favourite coffee shop but since using this machine I think these are so much nicer and always readily available. You have the option to make a single cup or two cups. The 2 litre water tank on the back is very handy as it saves constantly having to fill it up between drinks. You can make a flat white, espresso, americano etc, or a cappuccino or latte using the stainless steel milk jug and powerful steam wand milk frother. You can also make a lovely hot chocolate by heating and frothing the milk, which is great for my children who don't have coffee. It has a hot plate on the top of the machine to warm up your coffee cups and a place where you can keep the jug of hot milk so it doesn’t go cold. It also has a place to keep all the accessories together. The machine precisely controls the water temperature and also lets you choose between a single or double shot, or if you prefer you can set your own shot volume to suit your taste. It is easy to clean, just wipe with a damp cloth and wash the wand with warm water and the machine is ready to use again. It has a handy removable drip tray which is also easy to keep clean. It comes with a cleaning pin to help make cleaning easier. If you love coffee you should get this machine, you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Machine I used to use one of the coffee pod machines but upgraded to a proper machine since I have been spending so much time at home. I absolutely love it! It is very easy to use and clean, coffee tastes great. The only thing that takes time is getting used to the milk frothed, but once you do get the hang of it, it becomes pretty straightforward (watch a few YouTube videos). So happy with this machine and highly recommended.

I love how it has different settings and features to adapt to how you like your coffee. I was worried that the stainless steel would end up full of prints but its stayed amazingly clean so far. My friends have actually asked me if I bought an industrial coffee machine it is so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a beautiful machine with tasty Barista style This is one beautiful machine, it arrived on a Friday and we immediately went to get some ground coffee (Lavazza) our fav - they both arrived, here we go in a suspense opening of the box. The unit is very easy to use, and comes with all of the essentials (minus nice new cups and coffee of course), this model doesn't let you ground your own beans but the higher model does I believe, this one just takes ground coffee. The unit is easy to clean and there is also a brilliant mode on the brilliant "milk steamer" mode which helps easily clean the froth of the milk at the end of each coffee making session. This has seriously made some high-street style coffee, and has made us want to experiment more with other brands of ground coffee, it might even turn us both taking a coffee cup into work and no longer buying one, it's that GOOD! I would suggest to make a double shot coffee, use one mug with the "two cup" mode, this will make a stronger coffee, and properly brew out the first batch of ground coffee and leave no wastage! The model is really built well, with a quality chrome finish. It doesn't feel cheap when using it and feels like it will be durable and last quite a while, I'm over the moon and my friends are all jealous now when they come over and we no longer give them an instant coffee for the after-dinner party. (after eights not included) :) If you are looking for an affordable, durable, strong, lasting machine I would highly recommend this, it is so easy to use and once you get the Barista mode going you will for sure make some beautiful impressive coffees. The box also contains a very thorough instruction manual for any novices (like me at the start), and it really affordable for anyone not wanting to fork out thousands on other machine/s.

It’s not nearly as loud as other machines I’ve tried, and I like the large water tank so you don’t have to fill it each use. The milk frother is very effective. Another plus is HOT coffee, not lukewarm like some machines, you can make a decent latte just like one you’d buy in a coffee shop. Very impressed with the solid build quality

The machine is easy to clean the stainless steel fits in with any kitchen dont look a mess left on side and the mini is a great size if short on space. Would recommend the breville barista mini to all my friends and family.

It’s really simple to use and even easier to clean, I have had coffee machines before but nothing like this one. It makes coffee really nice and the milk frother is great! If you love the warming smell of coffee you get from any coffee shop then this is for you! It makes perfect espressos every time - see photos. And you can froth your milk to however you like it using the steam wand!

It does take some getting used to if your not used to heating milk etc. The only downfall is that the milk jug is a little small and only fits enough for 1 coffee in but it doesn't take long to do another jug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant coffee machine Absolutely love my coffee and being able to make one like in my favourite coffee shop pleases me lots, once I figured out how to use it with the easy to follow instructions it was a breeze and made drinks for all the family, I even made hot chocolate for the kids, as ur able to just heat and froth the milk without have to brew coffee so added bonus. It even has a hot plate on the top of the machine to warm up your coffee cups and a little part where you can pop the jug of hot milk incase you made to much or not quite ready for it, so it doesn’t go cold. It’s such a great barista machine, it looks professional and stylish sitting on my counter in the kitchen, it’s easy to clean and the drip tray at the bottom has added place for steam to go rather than all over the counter top, I just need to learn now how to make a cappuccino and latte. I would recommend this machine to all my family and friends, I actually can’t wait to have friends over to make them a coffee shop style coffee with freshly ground coffee.

I went through the steps - removed the filter, cleaned with vinegar etc. It still didn't work. Breville did not want to do anything about it as it was out of warranty. Would not recommend this item.
