Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best on market I cannot believe how easy this was to set up, the easy to follow instructions in the manual make this so easy to follow. To use again, very easy and clearly set out instructions. The quality is comparable to none. I don’t think there is a product like this that isn’t an overly expensive product that is a professional machine. It really is making your own coffee shop favourites from home. It’s so easy to clean as well, the removal parts need a good wipe and that’s about it. So very happy with it.

Find the perfect grind from the fastest to the slowest, for your own type of coffee. Making it “the perfect” cup of coffee. With its build in grinder saves the time of using other appliances to grind. Then your coffee it’s just a button away. The steamer has 2 settings for the milk. Making barista cup of coffee at your own comfort. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coffee machine Where do i start? First of all i am a mad coffee lover, it was not easy to say goodbye to my 6 yo Nespresso machine. I been wanting a proper coffee machine for a while. Its not difficult to use once you get the hang of it. If you prefer expresso this is the one for you, but if you are a latte lover ( like me) you will find the milk frother a bit challenging ( hopefully i am getting there soon) . Its still early days to give a full feedback as i have just started it but so far so good

It resembles a professional coffee machine and would be great for any budding baristas / coffee enthusiast. It includes a number of features including 30 grind settings that are easy to switch between, however, the grinding can become a bit messy. For the average coffee drinker it will take a bit of time to get consistent results but when done right you get great coffee.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brwville Coffee machine Breville has got a lot right with this espresso machine. First things first: it makes fantastic coffee! Smooth espresso with a rich crema. Lots of options to fine tune your coffee to just how you like it (and to suit the beans you're using) The integrated conical burr bean grinder is superb (see my 3rd photo) The milk frother works very well. It looks fab on the worktop, very well designed to mimic commercial coffee shop machines. Large capacity water tank. Easy to clean There are only a few negative points; It's designed to fill two espresso cups at once, but they don't quite fill evenly. You can't froth milk at the same time as pouring espresso. Finally, the distance between spout and platform is fixed, so if you use low level espresso cups then you end up with splashes onto the machine, but all in all I am super happy with this!

But wow what a great addition to my kitchen I will be the envy and host of many coffee mornings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breville Barista Max Really loving the Breville Barista Max coffee machine, it looks really stylish in my kitchen. It's a good sturdy unit and great colour and it doesnt take up lots of bench space. The bean holder is good and holds a full pack of coffee beans. It took me a few tries to get the right strength of espresso shot for my taste but found that to be around 20 to 22 on the bean holder. It is a little messy when you extracting the grinded coffee as sometimes it's not as sturdy in the holder. The milk jug is a good size, that also took a few tries to get the right consistency of frothy milk and heat to make a cappuccino, just play around until you get your perfect cup of coffee. The buttons on the machine are quite clear, however I have to add some of the instructions in the booklet are a little confusing. All in all a great coffee machine that I'm loving more each day.

The modern design fit perfectly in my kitchen. It produce quality espresso at home. There is temperature control, pressure regulation which help you make perfect espresso for you. It comes with steam wand for milk, so you can make latte, cappuccino etc. It's really easy to use, I never had coffee machine and had no problems with making first espresso or latte! I really love it 😀 The Barista Max + also have build in grinder, so you don't need separate one. It offers grind settings for optimal extraction and flavour. It contains 2.8L water reservoir, which allows you for extended brewing sessions without frequent need to refill. In my opinion it's perfect in size as well , tou don't need big kitchen to purchase this Breville Barista Max+

Took me a little while to get my head around the instructions but I got there eventually. I found it pretty easy to clean out once I figured out how to remove each part. For the price I definitely think it's a great little machine for home use! Makes a cracking Latte!

Initially, I was overwhelmed with the protest of having a barista standard coffee machine as I thought it would be difficult to set up and use. However, I've been pleasantly surprised at how easy and straightforward the process was. The manual is easy to follow, and Breville also provides online video tutorials, which is extremely helpful. I was set up and ready to enjoy my coffee in no time at all. The machine comes with everything you would need to achieve a quality cup of coffee. The machine boasts a very impressive 30 grind options, allowing you to really tailor your drink to your preference. The machine has a full size steam wand which creates the most velvety silk foam. I am slightly disappointed with the tamper provided as I prefer it to be heavier and the one provided is made from plastic and light weight. Overall, very happy as it makes a delicious coffee.

I would say the grinder isn’t automatic as advertised as you need to keep pressing it while it dispenses but it’s not a bad thing. Very easy to clean and can make lots of different drinks! I would say a great dupe for the Sage machine :))

I’ve learnt a new skill with this kit, it may look overwhelming at first but it’s quite simple to make the coffee and just as good as the coffee you get out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best coffee I’ve ever tasted at home!!! first of all, I just want to start by saying that the design and the slickness of this machine is stunning! So start off with the instructions I did find them very very complicated when at the actual use of the machine is so easy so why are the instructions so complicated? Maybe it’s just me I don’t know LOL. Working in the machine itself like I said before it’s so easy! the coffee you get from this is stunning. It is literally like a Starbucks. I’ve put Starbucks beans in mine and I don’t think I’ll be changing them any time soon as they are absolutely stunning. I’ve made a hot coffee so far and I also cannot wait to put ice in and make an iced coffee !! the only downside I would really say is that the milk froth is so so noisy oh my goodness my dog is so scared of it. It’s literally the noisiest thing ever but I think once you get used to it it will be fine so I’m not complaining at all! I have an nespresso machine and I am on 100% getting rid of it!!! as and the coffee beans in this are gonna last me ages!! honestly, I’m so grateful that I have been given this. It’s worth every penny if someone wants to actually buy it with their own money thank you Influenster for another amazing product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Milk Pitcher is too big I have already a Sage Bambino Plus and Eureka grinder, so that is my frame of reference for this review. The breville machine feels decently built, and I appreciate the freely articulating steam wand compared to my sage. However, the steam function takes much, much longer to heat up and isn't as powerful. I think the included milk pitcher is too big to create the "velvety" milk foam that they advertise, because the steam wand isn't super powerful and there'S too much milk in there to get it spinning. It would be nice if they included a smaller one. Using a lightly roasted blend, I was able to just barely achieve drinkable shots that weren't sour using grind setting 7 and only 17-17.5g of coffee at the second highest temperature setting. But it is almost choking the machine and takes longer than optimal. This is actually better than my sage, which cannot use lightly roasted coffee at all and always produces sour shots. I have no complaints about the grinder, it is quiet and seems to do a good job. Perhaps the results with lighter roasts would be even better with an external grinder. Overall I can recommend the Barista max if it's under 250 euros, and the Max Plus maybe for 350. But for the retail price, I think you could do better.

My first couple of attempts at making a latte were shocking, but after adjusting the grind settings (30 to choose from) and practising a few more times, I was beginning to produce coffee very similar to that from a coffee shop! This is an expensive purchase no doubt, however if you love coffee shop drinks and buy them daily or regularly, making this purchase like this will definitely save you money and time in the long run! There are endless ways to customize your drink, you can brew your drink with any beans, any milk, and customise it your way! I love how involved this machine is, it might not be for everyone but I love the hand made touch of making the coffee compared to pod machines for example. In addition to coffee, you can also make hot drinks with the kettle function that instantly produces 200ml of hot water. With a 2.8 litre water tank, you can drink a lot of hot drinks in one tank without having to refill. It is easy to set up and clean and it looks very smart on the counter, I assume this is an upgrade on the previous Barista Max Espresso Coffee Machine. This newer version is much more modern with a cleaner more stylish look that will look good in any household.

With accessories and cleaning tools included. You can make Single and double espressos. It also comes with a steam wand that can run steam or milk. Setting up this coffee machine was pretty standard and easy. It comes with a manual which is very easy to follow. There's a lot to this bean-to-cup coffee maker, and although its features are stylishly packed away, you need to familiarize yourself with them all before getting started. Most of the machine is fully assembled already. The bean hopper easily twists and locks in at the top. It has various settings (30!) depending on how fine you want your coffee machines to be. Fill up the water tank and press the power on button. This will illuminate the "start" and "grinder" lights, which will flash. Once all the buttons are lit, the machine is ready for use The quality of the coffee in this machine is superb. It is dark, Rich and caramel coloured. It also tastes quite good. The cream on top is rich and creamy. The only downside of the milk frother was that you can’t adjust the temperature and I felt like it wasn’t hot enough. But that’s only because I like my milk to be steaming hot. As a bean to cup machine it has everything you would need to make the perfect espresso and very quick to make. The machine is also very easy to clean. A very reliable machine I am quite impressed with this and we are using it daily trying out the different settings to make various cuppas.

I can now have the same high-quality coffee at home while saving a lot of money. The setup was simple, and everything is nearly ready to go. Adding the beans and hearing the process of grinding sound, knowing I could make a robust, high-quality coffee to consume at home, was priceless. The machine produces high-quality espressos that you can add to your favourite beverage. For those who enjoy milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, it includes a stainless steel jug to make the perfect frothy milk, and flat white and americano enthusiasts will appreciate the enormous 2.8l tank, which eliminates the need to continuously replenish it. To use the machine, simply grind the beans in the portafilter and flatten them with the tamper. Once everything is done, you can begin the extraction process by placing the portafilter beneath the thermacoil, ensuring it is secure, then placing your mug or espresso cup underneath. You can select one or two shots, and the machine will automatically brew the coffee at the ideal temperature for the perfect espresso shot. As a starting point we chose for a grind setting of 20 which was fine for us but if you want faster extraction you can change it to 30 where the hopper gates are fully open. If you want to add milk, simply fill the stainless steel jug and turn on the cool-touch steam wand. That will make your milk foamy and delicious. Cleaning the machine after use is simple: put hot water through the spouts and wipe the steam wand with a clean cloth or run it under clean water. Overall, it's been a delight using this machine and drinking such delicious coffee.The instructions are a little more comprehensive and demand a lot of careful reading. They did made it appear more complex than it was to set up the equipment. The machine is a considerable size, so consider the specifications to ensure you have enough counter space.
