Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great iron. Can’t fault it. I am at that time in my life where I am excited about a new iron. Comparing it to my last one which was nothing special really. It looks really nice. Like the blue and gold stands out a bit more than just black. The cord is slightly shorter but for me this is no issue it reaches where I need. It’s quite quiet while it’s heating up, my last one made some noise. It’s more powerful too so it definitely got the job done quicker. The hole where the water goes in was a much better size so I didn’t spill it like usual, and the cover for it seemed decent and built to last. I haven’t tried upright steaming yet but the steam level was just right for my clothes. It just glided over the clothes, the tip was pointier as well for getting right in the awkward places. All in all really pleased with the iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Iron. My old iron was on its way out, and was slightly broken, so I decided to get a new iron, and went for this one, for 3 different reasons. Reason 1 - It’s really lightweight, and easy to move around, and glide along clothes whilst ironing. Reason 2 - I love the colour blue. Reason 3 - I had heard via word of mouth, that Breville was a great brand to try, and so far after using it a few times, I cannot disagree. It’s a great iron, makes ironing feel a lot easier, which is amazing for me, as it’s my least favourite chore. Another great feature, is that the water cap opens sideways, instead of upwards, and this is awesome, makes pouring the water into the iron a lot easier, with the handy pourer. My only gripe, is that the power cord could do with being a bit longer, to get it that bit more flexibility.

It glides effortlessly over fabrics, leaving them smooth and wrinkle-free in no time. And the steam function? Let’s just say it’s like a mini steam engine, blasting away wrinkles like they’re nothing. Plus, it heats up faster than a speeding bullet. Honestly, using this iron feels like wielding a powerful tool that turns laundry day from a chore into a breeze. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really impressed I receives this just a week ago and put it to the test. The previous one I had was awful, didn’t do a good job and kept leaking. I immediately love the look of this and it isn’t heavy at all. I used the iron feature and love how smooth and sharp it left my blouse. Did the job really quickly which left me no choice but to enjoying the ironing and do the remaining clothes. Definitely a great product

Very lightweight which is a bonus if like me you have a massive pile build up before getting round to ironing the clothes as it doesnt ache your wrist. Glided really easily across the ranges of fabrics I had. Did arrive with droplets in but I guess this is due to testing beforehand. Never used this brand before so nice to be impressed by it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needed an Iron Reading the features and especially the reviews this iron was believed to fill the criteria however its first use today the button to release additional steam rubbed my finger and my hand hurt when ironing a bedsheet. There is no indication of water remaining either. I’m hoping it will be faulty during the one year guarantee so it can be replaced with a different brand.

As a busy household the ability to be able to steam something whilst it’s hung up is convenient. This iron has a trigger like way of creating bursts of steam which make steaming clothes a breeze. Time will tell how durable the iron is but it looks good quality, from a well known known family trusted brand.

I spent ages reading about irons and their reviews before deciding on this one and I'm delighted to say that I've made the correct decision. It's a superb iron. A real plus point is its lightness, yet it is full size. It's a delight to use. Breville warn that it heats up very quickly and indeed it does; the maximum heat is greater than I've experienced before so you need to use the temperature control sensibly depending on the material to be ironed. This will avoid any reported 'sticking' or 'burn marks'. I would put that down entirely to operator error. There are three settings for steam – Off, Low and High. High is good for really creased thick clothes but otherwise Low is fine. However, the tank will be empty after six shirts. This is not a problem though because the neat filler (supplied) refills the iron quickly and easily and with no spillage. The lid for the refill hole even has a plug on it to properly seal the tank.

With a 300ml capacity, it can get through a pile of laundry and then be easily stored away for next time. It has a sturdy 2m long cord that fully rotates meaning you don’t get snagged or tangled up when getting into all the seams. For a cap t iron, this device performs very well.

After trying this iron a few times I like how light it is and how well it works. The only thing I don’t like about this iron is the steam trigger, if I’m only ironing a few items it’s fine but if I’m ironing a lot of clothing I find that my hand gets tired quickly.

I didn’t realise irons could do so many different things and have different settings! I love the Safe Store feature and the fact that it’s self cleaning. It’s a smooth iron and glides easily across clothes to easily remove creases.

Lovely colour and modern. It's fairly lightweight so easy if you've got a big pile of ironing to do!! Easy to use and set to the correct temperature for the type of material. Happy all round!

It has plenty of heat settings to choose from to suit whatever item you are ironing. The cord is a good length long enough to stretch to the end of the ironing board! It looks really stylish too which is a bonus!

I would give this good marks for safety as it has a good indicator lights that are easily visible with the iron in any orientation.

Love the way it comes with the measuring cup so you are able to fill up the iron no problems. It comes with a steam shot too which is perfect. Anti drip and anti scale which means no wet or spoiled clothes

It heats up quickly and provides an even strong long lasting steam. It makes ironing more efficient and enjoyable. Importantly It doesn’t leave water stains on the fabric like other irons.

The iron is a lot more lightweight than I expected, which can be important factor when choosing your new iron. It's easy to re-fill with water and the tank is a great size so it lasts a while . The cable is a good length too. The ceramic soleplate helps for easy and fast iron every time . This iron works well on any material and gets rid of even stubborn creases. I like that it has an indicator to show you when it's cooled down after use and it's safe to store away . It heats up quite quickly, can be used to vertical steam your clothes and can be used even on delicate fabrics. It also has a self-cleaning function which prevents limescale build up. This iron is a good size and lightweight so it will be perfect to take with you when going on holiday. It's very easy to use , heats up fast and the steam function is brilliant. Very good iron especially considering how affordable it is .

It is a clever little iron that has many safety features like changing lights to tell you when it is safe to put away. Has multiple settings, easy to iron both harder-wearing fabrics like linen and cotton, as well as more delicate synthetics. Haven't needed to use the steam setting as yet but seems to work well. Doesn't leave marks on fabrics either.

Especially great efficacy when it comes to larger washing. The only issue I faced was the short cord but a good extension cord and your ace.
