Very nice designVery nice design with quality materials, can boil a very small amount of water which saves on power consumption and water. The lid is very easy to remove and replace but is still securely held in place. Cannot comment on reliability as only used for 1 to 2 weeks. The plug is very easy to remove from the wall socket due to the excellent shape of the plug. So overall a great kettle.

I love my kettle!This has really changed the way I use boiling water because you can so easily see how much you're using. (Much easier than the ones with a slit - usually hidden behind the handle. Doh!) Can't recommend it highly enough. Am buying two more in case Breville discontinue the line.

Waste of moneyGreat looking kettle just over a year old and the blue light has stopped working which seems to be a common problem with this kettle
Contacted Breville to be told there are no spare parts and no warranty and seemed not bothered very disappointed

quick boilerThe only quibble I have is about the filter. It is very difficult to remove so much so that I am afraid of breaking it if I use too much force. Does anyone have any experience of this problem and how did you get the filter out without damaging it?

lid doesn't openGreat looking kettle, boils water well. However the lid opening mechanism is weak and eventually stops working. You then need to fill the kettle via the spout, wasting water and the kettle then leaves a puddle on the kitchen surface

Disappointed with this kettleI bought this kettle 2 years ago but now the grey plastic components around the edge of the top are degrading causing the lid not seal. The spout filter has also fallen off probably due to the plastic warping out of shape.
