Can you imagine a human drinking these precipitate from no where.... how harm is it? So I ask customer service to replace another for me, they then sent me a new one which is very good, but it seemed to be more worse.... more black substance created! I cant drink with it anymore, I decided order other water dispenser and not purchase this brand for good. For the sake of your health , I do not recommend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for one quick cuppa I’m not impressed by this machine, it does not quite get to boiling temp and it starts spitting the water out, then my mug overfills, I have to contactless watch over it or it makes a mess, oh and water level hard to see, a few times I thought it was empty and filled it, what a mess!

It also saves so much electric then boiling a kettle. Highly recommend also my children love to make there own hot chocolate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed Bought this thinking that it is better than the ordinary pour-type kettles since its description says it can make up to 8 cups of hot water. From this, one can only imagine that once the water is boiled, it can dispense more than 1 cup of hot water. Instead, you need to keep pressing the "start" button to boil another "cup" of hot water!!Pity, that this was not explained or even described fully in the features of this product. So annoyed with my purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very dissapointed I bought this kettle because I'm unable to lift a heavy kettle. For the first month is worked ok then it started spitting everywhere and only giving about quater of a cup of water. The temperature is drinkable not boiling but having to press to boil at least twice or three times to even fill my cup and now it reboils sometimes on it's own when the cup is full. Making it extremely dangerous and risk of burning! So I'm very unhappy with this purchase.

However the use of it is quite disappointing as it stops pouring after 250ml which I understand and actually makes one perfect hot cup of water but it's more time consuming making multiple cups of tea than using a kettle as the unit boils the water each time. Great for single person use but no god for multiple cups or filling a saucepan with boiled water for cooking for example.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but not great My wife bought this last year after getting fed up waiting ages for our normal kettle to boil. Initially I thought it was just a gimmick but it turned out to be better than I expected it to be. I did have to ensure I hit the stop button when using it as it would often dispense just a little too much water for my cup. I can't say the water was ever as hot as we got out of a normal kettle. A hot drink made with water from the kettle always seemed to stay hot far longer than one from this. Now though, about a year later, for the same cup I have to press the dispense button twice, as the amount of water dispensed has reduced by so much. Trying to use it for multiple cups is also frustrating as well, after dispensing approximately 3 - 4 amounts of water, pressing the button starts the boiling process, which then stops with no water dispensed. We have to press the button several times for it to resume dispensing water again. It has got so bad that my wife has now resorted to using the old kettle again. It may be cheaper to use for individual hot drinks than a normal kettle, but if it is as bad as this after 1 year then I think we'll stick with a normal kettle, which works well for a number of years without needing to be replaced. If only used a few times a day then I would say it would be good, but no use for a family or people that drink several hot drinks daily.

Then bought another for my dear friend and now...yes...just bought another for my dear old brother, no more trips down stairs during the night for him !!

It's just so handy being able to get 250ml of water without having to boil a whole kettle. It would be handy if the amount was adjustable as I have some larger mugs which take 2 pushes. I haven't yet had to descale and live in a hard water area so time will tell on that part but the instructions seem easy enough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with this model This is the third Hot Cup that we have owned but is very disappointing as there is no way of choosing how much water is dispensed. The machine does not seem to be able to register the size of cup despite having an adjustable tray. Small cups overflow and large cups are only half filled. I will be replacing it as soon as possible with the more expensive model that has variable choice that we had previously.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adore it I just adore this. Great energy efficiency because the smart metre does not go crazy when boiling and it is very simple to use. It's fantastic that you can turn the water off for smaller glasses. Simply add extra water to make larger glasses. Obviously, this device isn't perfect for pre-filling pots with water for pasta, so keep your kettle or acquire one of those fancy taps for such occasions.

Bought my breville hot cup dispenser and soon it started spitting water out had it replaced and this one lasted longer but now it’s not dispensing much water , rang breville and was told to clean it once a month and because it’s out of warranty they are not interested, I use filtered water and have cleaned it several times so now it’s going in the bin .

It’s well made, and the concept does work, however I worry how much electricity it uses to keep the water warm all the time. Will take some getting used to after years of a kettle, but definitely will be keeping this as its miles easier, especially with a demanding baby

We do have a multiuse coffee machine in the house, but as I'm often at home with the kids I'm always looking for ways to use less energy, especially at the moment, when making tea or coffee. This is a great addition in the kitchen for me, but also for those who maybe live at home alone for example. Fresh water for your brew, sorted!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after a few weeks It was a nice idea while it worked, but after a very short while it stopped dispensing a full cup, taking three or four presses of the button and a lot of coughing and spluttering to get one cupful. The Amazon return window closes after only a month and there is apparently no other guarantee, so I advise that you do not risk buying it.

It is very easy to use and simple to set up. It has a large tank capacity so I don’t feel like I’m filling it up all the time. I would definitely recommend this product, 5* from me.

Takes just seconds to boil and leaves just the right space for adding milk. It’s easy to fill and you can stop the water flow at any point. Looks stylish in the kitchen too

It has two different heights for the tray depending on the cup. You can make so many hot drinks and neals at a touch of a button. I've made soup, gravy tea coffee in no time.

Instead of waiting 5 minutes for a full kettle to boil you get your coffee ready in 30 seconds and aren't wasting electricity boiling a full kettle every time. Would highly recommend and is way more efficient than a boil tap.

Then water levels started dropping and dail had to be turned to almost the last setting to get a full cup of tea. Really disappointed that the sensor failed so quickly. Am returning to Amazon.
