Potentially faulty?
Bought this toaster over Christmas (4-5 months ago) and it’s worked fine until yesterday. Only toasting on one side and heating up very quickly (in seconds), to a high temperature, on the lowest setting. Causing smoke and charcoal toast. Cleared out the crumbs at the bottom and still experiencing the same problem. Anyone else having the same issue? Any way of fixing this issue? Love this little toaster but fear that it may be faulty or not very robust / breaks quickly. Only ever used for toast.

Compact, versatile and easy to use
Sleek trendy looking toaster, 2 slice size so compact and takes less space. Toasts evenly and very quickly. Easy to use and has variable browning control, perfect for a family that likes toast of different levels of cooking. Contains high lift function for bagels and crumpets so very versatile. Also contains variable width for for even toasting on different sizes of bread. A matching kettle is also available from Breville. Good quality toaster which looks good on the counter too.

Nice Sized Toaster
This is a lovely sturdy toaster, that is quite lightweight but solid looking too, it has nice features which I found easy to use, it has a push down lever to hold the bread in place, which holds firmly, a dial for choosing how toasty you like it and three buttons which are for a frozen slice to defrost, a reheat function, which is useful and a button to cancel, if you feel your bread is done enough.
A very nice toaster, which left my toast evenly toasted and nice and crunchy.

ideal for various thickness bread or teacakes, variable browning control for all of us taste,variable width slots function is as well great, easy to clean the tray with no mess !Highly reccomned!
Had various Breville Products and they are really good quality, this toaster has a matching kettle and I will purchase as a Christmas gift for me!

Crunchy
Excellent product that came in time !! The old one needed a replacement so badly! As it was silver and rusty and dirty and couldn’t see the numbers on the wheel thing so we always would have a burnt toast!
This toaster is black and it’s great colour as doesn’t get so easily dirty! Easy to use and love how can just cancel and the toasts would pop up ! Default number on the spin was turned to 4 and it was just right !! Not burnt and it was well crunchy!!

A great toaster
This looks very smart. A really good, lightweight but sturdy toaster, it gives a lovely even browning to the toast. It heats up quickly and can accommodate thick slices of bread. Also deals with reheating and frozen bread. The crumb tray is easy to remove and relocate. Last, but not least, the instructions are in clear, plain English not a set of
incomprehensible diagrams. Highly recommended.

Expected better
The toaster was fine when working but I expected it to last for more than 18 months. Bought it together with matching kettle on 16th July 2022. The toaster started to play up about 3 months ago. It won't lock down it will work if you stand and hold the lever down but that defeats the object of having a pop up toaster. The old saying buy cheap buy twice. Sorry Breville disappointed.

Practical neutral toaster!
I’ve been using this toaster for 2 weeks and love it! It’s neutral coloured meaning it fits in my kitchen well - it would fit in most well as the colour is great for various styles! The size is fine, does 2 slices of toast well. Temperature control is good, easy to adjust and makes the perfect golden toast in 2 minutes! Easy to clean and move around. Thank you Breville!

Lovely looking Toaster
This toaster is fantastic and just what you would expect from Breville.
Great colour which goes well in my kitchen and would imagine it would look good in most.
Nice quality to it all over including the buttons which are easy to use and accurate meaning toast to my liking every time.
Nice sized slots easy to accommodate crumpets and muffins. Fantastic toaster!

Modern and easy to use
This is a great toaster it’s a good size so it fits perfectly beside my kettle and it doesn’t look bulky , it’s very light so it’s easy to move and clean underneath , it toasts my bread perfectly to how I like and there’s a few different toast settings , I also really like the colour it’s a glossy cream , I would definitely recommend the brand Breville

My toast has never been so crispy!
Good design, very aesthetically pleasing and love the small footprint!
Very good build quality except time knob, which could have been stronger/tougher. Works well toasting equally (very important and while it seems like a no brainer most toasters don’t). Thankfully it can also accommodate thicker (normal bread) which makes me very happy :)

Spot on. I have a black SMEG Kettle and the toaster is so overpriced I refused to pay that much for a toaster. However...this is brilliant, fits into the kitchen well, looks expensive and does the toasting really well. Love the defrost function too. The design is ergonimically easy to use, sleek and stylish. Really happy with this toaster.

The new bold collection from Breville is stunning. Our old set is cream & this colour just matches our kitchen beautifully. The toaster is really smarty, stainless steel detailing. It has a variable browning control & wide slots for even toasting, this also comes with matching items available. I’m off to buy the kettle!

Really pleased with this compact breville toaster! Gorgeous black gloss design with silver accents it looks sleek and modern. I love how high you can lift the bread out of the toaster saves burnt fingers! Has a crumb tray for easy cleaning and the cord storage is handy to keep everything neat on the side of my kitchen.

Looks expensive and great quality product
It looks so good on the kitchen counter. Something that i would like to show off. Its got a lovely texture design on the outer body and its a sleek, not as bulky as my previous toaster and a good quality one too. I wish it came in Gold and black would have made a statement piece. But loving mu new toaster nonetheless.

My family loves to eat toast most mornings. This Breville Bold 2 slice toaster is great. It is quick and can reheat the toast within seconds without burning them. It has a defrost button as well, but I haven’t tried that one yet. It is easy to clean it, just pull the tray out from the bottom. Looks very stylish to me.

Small and compact, works perfectly!
Great little toaster, lovely golden brown toast! The crumb catcher is easy to remove for cleaning and easy to give a quick wipe down.
Design is clean and minimal which looks great in my kitchen, temperature control helps to get perfect results every time

Shame about the markings on the buttons
Just got one of these on line - seems fine and handy wide slots. Just a shame the symbols on the three buttons and the pointer on the dial are impossible to see without the aid of a magnifying glass and torch - just black on black. Obviously you would get used to it after a while, but just seems to be poor design.

Love it!
Really happy with the toaster. The design is beautiful, and it's compact. Controls are pretty basic, a knob for browning level, cancel button, and reheat button. I tried toasting on level 3 and it came out just as I wanted. There is a removable tray at the bottom to remove the crumbs. Would definitely recommend!

So yes this only does the 2 slices of toast, but if like us you want a stylish, compact,energy efficient appliance that will look GREAT ,look no further.
We already have everything breville in our kitchen so for our campervan conversion this ticked every box.So happy with it and we'll done Breville!

Mordern slick design
First of the design is very modern and slick. The ridge design stands out a lot. The cool feature of lift and look to see if your toast is burn or not mid cycle is very handy. Also the high lift feature is really handy of us. Stop the struggle of getting small size toast out of the toaster.

I love my new toaster. It looks great in my kitchen. It is completely straight forward to use and makes nice toast. I would like to get the matching kettle to go with it. The chord was long enough too for placement in the corner of my kitchen which was an issue with the last toaster I had.

The only complaint i have us that whilst it is grey in colour the colour does not match that on the box its a very pale grey (almost white) whilst the colour on the box is alot darker so that was disappointing

I needed a new toaster, so got this one. Its super trendy look, looks fab in any kitchen. It toasts evenly on both sides. We have toasted croissants and they come out fine. They are buttons on the side to choose different options like how burnt or not you want your toast.

Perfect little toaster
Gorgeous toaster. Fits right in with my black kitchen and accessories. Works amazingly. Temperature control is great. Settings up to 6 minutes. We’ve used it a few times now and never disappointed.
Very easy to clean with the crumb tray underneath. All rounder amazing.

Fantastic little toaster from Breville. This toaster is incredibly stylish and looks great in my new kitchen. The heat timer on the side when set to your desired setting gives you perfect toast everytime!! I will be getting the kettle to match!

Good Toaster!
This toaster functions well, and once the bread is toasted, it jumps far up, meaning hands don't get burnt trying to retrieve the bread. It doesn't burn or underdo the bread, and has a crumb tray for easy removal so all in all a good toaster.

Looks great as all toasters do Initially. Let’s see if time is good to her. Easy controls and accurate toasting times. Just wish I went with a double toaster. A better range of colours would be nice and maybe brushed Metal rather than chrome.
