This makes the whole point of a compact blender, making drinks-to-go useless! Even more frustrating as we bought this model to replace a perfectly functioning previous model, in which all the bottle lids (a previous design) had also broken! Don't bother buying

The blender and bottles are fab but the lid really lets it down! Both plastic clasps snapped after a couple of weeks use (resulted in one smoothie spilled in my bag and one in the car!) I am unable to used the bottles on the go now which is why I purchased them.

Had it for 2 weeks and first lid broke used the second bottle and that lid broke soon after too. Wish I had read the review on here would have returned the product . Waste of plastic bottle. Breville must have so many complaints about the lid. They should sell just spare lids, they would earn a fortune. My bottles are still perfectly fine, but now have to transfer the smoothi to another bottle. Waste of plastic and time.

Took back to Argos who refused to help as they feel it was wear and tear. Obviously not wear and tear seeing reviews, Only use once a week if that. Phoned Breville who is sending me a new bottle in post for free.

Like similar reviews already overall I’m happy with my Blend Active but really peeved of that the closing clasp on BOTH bottles snapped off within a month. Given this is a common area of product weakness why is there no option to purchase just the bottle cap (at a reasonable cost!)?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The photo speaks for itself, plenty of others have mentioned how poorly the lids on these bottles are. Unfortunate as the blender on its own is nice, it’s lightweight, compact and easy to clean shame the bottles it provides don’t come to standards.

Both bottles look like new but whole appliance destined for bin as I won't pay £20 for 2 completely new bottles when it's just the lids that have failed. Get your act together Breville

If the spout on the lids had some kind of screw cap on the would be perfect. The lids that come with the blender have little plastic clasps that soon snap off, if your not transporting the bottles then there is no problem.
